Har Ghar Har Grihini Yojana Portal 2024
On 12th August 2024, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini launched the “Har Ghar Har Grihini Portal” in Jind. This portal will provide LPG cylinders to around 50 lakh families living below the poverty line for just ₹500. Beneficiaries only need to pay ₹500 for the gas cylinder and the rest of the cost will be refunded directly to their bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This is a wonderful step by the government to help families living below the poverty line (BPL). The high cost of gas cylinders has been a big burden on ordinary people. To address this issue, the Haryana government has introduced a new scheme for low-income families. Now, families with an annual income of less than Rs 1,80,000 will be able to buy gas cylinders for just Rs 500.
